Food Pantry

People who are in need of a helping hand can come to the pantry and pay £6 for a grocery shop, which is worth around £15. There is access to free items which change daily, such as bread, vegetables and sanitary items.

What do you get for your £6?

The shelves in the pantry are labelled with –red– and –blue– markers. For your £6, you can choose: 10 red items + 2 blue items

Who can use the food pantry?

Anyone can as there is a ‘no questions’ asked policy and no means testing. A few pieces of information are required to sign up and then users can come once per week.

What food can I expect to get?

There is always plenty of store cupboard long life food on offer, eg tins and packet food. There is a good supply of fresh fruit, vegetables and daily bread supplies. Toiletries, nappies and sanitary items are always available. 

How can you help?

If you’d like to support the pantry we are happy for donations of all food types (in date), monetary donations as well as volunteers to help the pantry run on a day to day basis.
