Whether you’re picking up essentials from our Food Pantry, left surplus food in the Community Fridge, or drinking a fresh and hot coffee in our Cafe, our services are designed to meet real needs and spark local connection. Community Food Pantry
Winchester Community Food Pantry enables members to “get more for less”. The pantry aims to help and encourage families that need a little bit of support to manage and budget through these tough times. Anyone is welcome to shop at the pantry once a week – there are no criteria for becoming a member.
Community Cafe
Unit12 Community Cafe is your go-to local spot for great coffee, delicious food, and a warm welcome — open Monday to Thursday 9:30 am–2:00 pm and 4:00 pm-6:30 pm, and on Friday 9:30 am–2:00 pm. Proudly holding a 5-star food hygiene rating, we serve quality hot drinks and meals in a friendly, community-focused space.
Community Fridge
Community Fridges and Shelves work on an honesty basis, making surplus food freely available to members of the public. Surplus food is donated by local members of the public and then made available for all. As the fridge and shelves are all about preventing food waste, they are available for anyone to use.
Community Garden
Every Friday afternoon between 2-4pm, the Community Garden is open to anyone who would like to come along and get involved in growing produce and garden upkeep.
There is an experienced gardener who can help with your gardening queries available at that time as well.
Community Clothes Pantry
We’re here to help local people access affordable clothes while reducing waste. For just £1 per item (or bundled deals like 3 for £1!), members can choose up to 5 items per week.
We stock clothes and shoes for ladies, gents, children, and babies — with seasonal items throughout the year. Come by and see what’s new!
